THE RESERVED WEDDING GUEST

This post is in collaboration with AX Paris. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Well babes, its officially two days until spring! Lets just ignore the current bipolar of the English weather we are encountering at the moment, and gear up for the beautiful weather (fingers-crossed) that we deserve, in the next few weeks!

So between now and the rear end of august its very much the time to do a bit of shopping for the seasonal events ahead and in particular weddings. I feel sorry for the poor guests that are attending winter weddings! But for the majority of us, I’m guessing our loved ones enjoy a bit of sunshine on their big day.

Now for the important bit of what to wear… This edit will be a two part as I’ve gathered there are two different types of wedding guests. Those who are more extravagant and may or may not be looking for their lifetime partner and those who still look glam but a bit more reserved.

This edit will concentrate on the reserved guest – I opt for this option when I know the bride and groom but not well enough to make a loud statement with my wardrobe. Still classy and sexy with a but of edge to the outfit.

I found my perfect wedding dress at AX Paris in this gorgeous Navy Blue colour – HERE

This dress compliments your décolleté as it shows just the right amount to make you feel gorgeous and sexy but not to much to make you feel as if you are baring all! It compliments the waistline with a beautiful wrap skirt that you can tie and synch your waist in just the right place for you! (babes who love the extra shape, your waist shapers will sit just right underneath this beautiful dress too!)

To style this dress, I found it perfect for my personal style to go for strappy nude heels paired with a waterfall white coat! As the weather is still a bit on the cold side, I wanted something that still screams SS18 and that would brighten up the look as the dress is a deep navy tone. Hair down or in a cute low bun would be absolutely perfect for this type of look and the most sassy clutch!

So let me know if you have any weddings coming up and what you plan to wear!
